Signifiers at the start

Introductory experiences require clear signifiers

Introductory experiences need exemplary signifiers to guide the user to the flow.

These signifiers of the affordances may be necessary. Executed well, they can be revelatory for the user and convert them to the product.

See, for example, the stickers you encounter when opening an Owala water bottle for the first time:

'owala closed with first sticker label saying lift to unlock'

'owala handle lifted with label on button saying push button'

'owala completely opened with sticket label saying nicely done'
